Our program
The Program of the First European Bug-In is a contemporary copy of the Original Bug-in’s from back in the old days. so it consists of a series of activities that await participants from all over Europe! this promisses to be a Legendary show just like the originals were across the Atlantic… Be there with us… be there or be a “square”!
1/4 mile DRAGSTRIP ACTION
Just like back then the Quartermile Drag racing is the major activity during the whole weekend. the CIR track will be open from Friday to give Dragracers some setup time and get their machienes ready for the real racing over the weekend!
SLALOM
This part of the show will allow Slalom Lovers to exercise their bugs on a typical slalom track showing off the ability of the volkswagens to go around corners too, bring out your fat 14″ wheels and go for a spin!
SHOW & SHINE
The show and shine corner will alow you to show off your pride and joy withing a nice setting (a well organised, categorised field) there will be a Nostalgia area managed by Eldub himself where all periode lookers will be lined up! and the Gasserparking… well a total blast from the past!
SWAP MEET
Set up by the Bo$$ the Swapmeet will be the place to find those rare and desirable goodies you have been looking for!
MISS BUG-IN
In the arms of Fernando the Miss Bug In contest will take place in thru 70’s fashion. Girls, brake out those vintage bikini’s! more details on the “inscriptions” page.
WORST OF SHOW
For the frist time in Europe! a Worst of Show trophy will be handed out to… the worst car of the weekend… who will be the European Shaky Jake???
OFFROAD
An Off-Road track will be there for those wanting to try out the all terrain capability’s of their v-dub!
